Fern Socks – Knitterella is like multiplying leaves to a fern, this sock stitch pattern grows down from the cuff all the way to the toe. Twisted stitches create the angled lines, with zero cabling required! Offered in four adult unisex sizes, these fingering weight socks are a stunning addition to anyone’s sock drawer! Pattern includes written and charted instructions.

Gauge: 34 sts x 44 rnds = 4″ / 10 cm in Stockinette st

Finished Measurements: Approx 6.5 (7.5, 8.5, 9.5)” / 16.5 (19, 21.5, 24) cm foot circumference with foot length adjusted to fit

Materials Used: Fingering Weight yarn in the following amounts: 297 (339, 381, 424) yd / 270 (308, 347, 385). You can check out our 4 ply fingering weight yarn here.

Crafty Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag!  The other useful website is Yarnsub –  great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
