Floozy- Truly Myrtle. Deliciously comfortable, with a great big splash of “ooh la la”, Floozy is the cardigan for dancing, dreaming and feeling fabulous. She’s bold, she’s beautiful, she’s fantastic over dresses and skirts and wonderful teamed with boots and trousers. Knitted from the top down, so you can try her on as you go, Floozy uses slipped stitches to create her stunning colourful yoke. You’ll just work one colour per row! No complicated colourwork, just simple, easy knitting that’s suitable for every level of knitter. The wide range of sizes and options for different body and sleeve lengths make Floozy a great cardigan for everyone. Choose a size that gives you room to move, or one that shows off your gorgeous shape.

Floozy – Truly Myrtle – Materials Used: Yarnfloozy Merino/Silk/Cashmere fingering (70% merino, 20% silk, 10% cashmere; 438 yds/400 m per 100g skein). Approx. 3 (3, 3, 4, 4) (5, 5, 5) skeins of Colour A, 1/2 (1/2, 1/2, 1/2, 1/2) (3/4, 3/4, 3/4) skein of Colour B (cream) and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1) (1, 2, 2) 25 g mini-skein(s) of Colour C (pop of colour).
If substituting yarn; approx. 962 (1138, 1313, 1466, 1641) (1816, 1991, 2144) yds/880 (1040, 1200, 1340, 1500) (1660, 1820, 1960) m of Colour A, 88 (110, 132, 159, 192) (225, 257, 296) yds/80 (100, 120, 145, 175) (205, 235, 270) m of Colour B and 33 (39, 44, 55, 66) (93, 115, 143) yds/30 (35, 40, 50, 60) (85, 105, 130) m of Colour C.
You’ll need slightly less of Colour A if you choose the short version and/or 3/4 sleeves.
Hook Size: US 3/3.25 mm & US 4/3.5 mm circular needles 32”/80 cm long and also for knitting small circs. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
Waste yarn or stitch holders, tapestry needle, sewing needle & thread.

Crafty Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag! The other useful website is Yarnsub – great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
