Tofu the Gentle Dachshund – Danger Crafts, Meet Tofu the Gentle Dachshund! This new knitting pattern from Danger Crafts will show you how to knit Tofu, the cutie pie Doxie. Tofu is a fast, super satisfying project that knits up easily on many yarn/needle combinations. Since it doesn’t take much yarn to knit a Tofu, this is a great stash busting project for all those times you’ve bought just 1 or 2 balls because something was pretty. Just like Dachshunds themselves, this pattern is very addicting and once you knit one Tofu, you will find you want to knit an entire Dachshund family!
Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing wont show through,
Finished Measurements: Samples range from 11” tall to 15” tall
Materials Used: 120-150 yards
Needle Size: You pick! A 40″ circular needle in a size appropriate for you yarn. See the pattern for more info

Crafty Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag! The other useful website is Yarnsub – great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
