Jody Long – Alba – Ocean is a beautiful blend of wool and alpaca making it soft and warm with a lovely tweedy fleck!
This lovely yarn bears the original Gaelic name for the kingdom of Scotland as its subtle and stunning tweed effect and colors are inspired by the Scottish Highlands. This tweedy yarn combines a luxurious blend of Merino Wool and Superfine Alpaca, accented with a taste of viscose sourced from German sustainable forestry.
Jody Long – Alba is perfect for a multitude of projects including blankets, beanies, scarves, shawls, jumpers and cardigans. We are currently knitting Tikki Knits – Wallaby Cardigan in the colour Oats for my daughters god daughter. You can see the other colours in the Alba range here

Craft Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag! The other useful website is Yarnsub – great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
