Champagne Shawl – Kaye Adolphson Is a visually stunning lovely lightweight shawl with a lacy edge. The shawl is worked side on to create a lovely diagonal striped effect. The original shawl was made using 2 balls of self striping Sock yarn but the pattern is suitable for any 4 ply fingering yarn. When completed this shawl is definitely a statement piece to have in your wardrobe.
Champagne Shawl Material Requirements are : 2 Skeins x 100 gram balls of 4 ply Fingering weight. A total of 800 metres is required to complete the project. In the original sample Kaye used 2 x 100gm balls of Debbie Bliss sock yarn. Malabrigo Sock Yarn, Crazy Zauberall or Queensland Collection’s PERTH or Malabrigo MECHITA are all perfect yarns to use instead.
