Australian Extra Fine Merino is 100% Australian grown extra fine merino wool processed and spun in Italy. Best of all the yarn is available in both 4 ply and 8 ply, machine washable and a great selection of colours to choose from.

Bambini Extra fine Merino range has been developed by Don McLearie of Prestige Yarns here in Australia. His wanted to support Australian Wool growers.  Furthermore this has given us yarn lovers a beautiful quality extra fine merino wool  yarn. Don has been around the Australian wool industry for most of his working life.  He was involved in wool buying with Elders before starting Prestige Yarns.

There are no mills in Australia able to spin an extra fine merino so Don sent his wool to the fabric mills of Italy that are renowned for their exceptional quality.
