Noro Yarn - Kakigori

Noro Yarn – Kakigori combines the best qualities of cotton and silk into a lush, soft yarn that gets its unique colouring from two twisted plies. Shades tend towards a single colour family, with specks of contrasting colours scattered throughout. This tonal plied yarns create movement of colour and you are continually seeing some new little pop of colour.

Kakigori is a 8 ply/DK weight yarn blended with cotton, silk, viscose and polyamide.  This super soft yarn is named from a Japanese shaved ice dessert.

• 50% Cotton, 30% Silk, 10% Viscose, 10% Polyamide
• 8 ply/DK weight
• 200 grams – 605 metres (approx)
• Spun in Japan using traditional practices
• Gauge – 21-24 stitches per 4″ on 3.75-4mm needles. 12-17 stitches per 4″ 3.75-4.5mm Hook.
