Emma Jean Jansen – Wake Me Up Quilt is a stunningly simple quilt which comes in two sizes. It can be made using a restricted pallete of fabrics or simply bits and pieces from your stash. It features instructions for Half Square Triangles which make it a quick quilt to piece together. The full colour pattern also includes two different construction methods. Emma Jean Jansen has been creating patchwork quilts since she was a teenager. She learnt patchwork from her mother together they ran Ballarat Patchwork for over 10 years. Emma loves designing her own quilts and is known for her use of bright colours and re-take on traditional piecing. In May 2016, Emma released her first book called By The Bundle, published by Lucky Spool Media. Emma is currently on maternity leave looking after her baby boy Henry, but is still busy creating quilt patterns and teaching when she can.
