Description
Franca – Cocoknits is a comfy-casual cardigan with a perfectly slouchy shape. Everything is knitted as you go, including the front band and the freehanging, kangaroo-style pockets, which means after inding off, you just have a couple gaps to close before blocking and curling up in it. This pattern includes the written instructions, photos, video tutorial and charts.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4″ / 10cm square in St st on largest needles
NOTE: Cardigan will stretch due to its weight so you might want to err on the side of a tighter gauge if in-between.

Approximately 1075 (1275, 1450, 1650, 1850, 2050) yds / 980 (1165, 1325, 1510, 1700, 1875) m heavy worsted / aran weight yarn. You can find our 10 ply yarns available for purchase here.
Needle Size:
- US 10 / 6 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) circular needle 40″ / 100 cm or longer (see page 19 for information on length) for Body and Sleeves
- US 4 / 3.5 mm needles for working BO
- US 0-3 / 2-3.25 mm double-pointed needle or any length circular needle (for icking up stitches)
Skill Level: Moderate
- Patterns include written instructions and you will receive a beautifully professionally printed pattern booklet mailed to you as a hard copy. Most of our patterns include a code that enables you to download a PDF version to your electronic devices from Ravelry as well.
- A note about postage costs for patterns only – At checkout we automatically reduce the postage costs to standard letter pricing if your order is only patterns and under the $50.00 free delivery minimum. We send our patterns as a domestic letter with Australia Post. If you want your patterns with tracking you need to select and pay for Flat rate – Standard Shipping

Crafty Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag! The other useful website is Yarnsub – great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
