Jacqueline Cieslak – Ursa – Pattern  is a top-down bulky weight raglan cropped pullover with half-brioche stitch detailing. Ursa is a bear of a sweater – chunky, bold, snuggly, fierce. With simple construction and interesting detailing, this cropped bulky weight pullover is a quick and enjoyable knit. The sweater is constructed from the top-down with raglan shaping for the sleeves and optional horizontal bust darts in 3 cup sizes. The pattern includes directions to try it on as you work and notations to help You tweak the size (including the length, if cropped isn’t your thing!) according to your preference.

Gauge: 11.5 sts & 20 rows to 4″

Finished Measurements: Bust circumference: 34″, 38″, 42″, 46″, 50″, 54″, 58″, 62″, 66″

Materials Used: 450-950 yards of bulky weight wool. We recommend the lovely Noro Tsuido which we currently stock HERE

Needle Size: US 10.5 (6.5mm)

Pattern Includes: Written Instructions and will come in a hard copy format by mail and also an email with a code to download an electronic PDF version as well.

Crafty Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag!  The other useful website is Yarnsub –  great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
