Blocking is essential for proper drape. It will open up the stitches, especially the garter section and of course will increase the size and softness of the shawl. If you have never blocked, please don’t be frightened – its super easy. All you need to do is saturate the piece with luke warm water (not hot or cold) and gently squeeze out the excess water by rolling in a towel then pin out the shawl on foam mats and once dry it’s ready. Need help just contact us!
