Reef – Truly Myrtle is a perfect layer for hot days that roll into warm evenings, Reef is a delicious slice of summer on your needles. She looks fabulous dressed up or down, with a coolness in linen that softens with every wash. Enjoy Reef over a gorgeous skirt topped with glamorous jewellery, or toss her over jeans and sandals, for a more casual vibe. Knitted from the top-down without seams, Reef is a quick project and uses smart shaping at the neck and armholes to create smooth curves that flatter your natural shape. Simple stitches at the hem are fun to knit and give an elegant twist to her classic silhouette. Reef is an excellent pattern for a wide range of knitters, including those new to garments and charged for an adventure. Play around with yarn to create an entirely different look: think cotton for something more casual, or silk for luxury!

Gauge: 25 sts and 35 rnds and rows = 4”/10 cm with US 3/ 3.25 mm needles in stockinette stitch in the round and worked flat, after blocking

Sparrow (100% organic linen, 168 yds/155 m per 50g skein) in “Truffle” (*Note: If substituting yarn, approx. 547 591, 635, 679, 744, 854 {919, 985, 1050, 1116, 1203} (1269, 1335, 1400, 1466) yds/500 540, 580, 620, 680, 780 {840, 900, 960, 1020, 1100} (1160, 1220, 1280, 1340) m of fingering- weight yarn.)

Needle Size: US 3/3.25 mm & US 2.5/3 mm circular needles at least 32”/80 cm long and also US 3/3.25 mm needles for knitting small circumferences. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag!  The other useful website is Yarnsub –  great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
