Description
Victoria’s Shawl – Kaye Adolphson is a crochet pattern for a warm cosy shawl with contrasting stripes and a V shaped mosiac pattern.
The original shawl sample used 2 x 100gm skeins of Noro Sonata for colour A and 1 x 200gm ball of Noro Geshi for colour B or yarns of equivalent weight. We also recommend Noro Sonata with Ella Rae Marmel (I have currently started this pattern using them together) or Noro Sonata with either Silk Garden Sock or Kakigori. The Kakigori is a new range to Noro and we will be stocking the entire range.
This crochet pattern is designed by Australian designer Kaye Adolphson and is the perfect statement piece. We are happy to help you select your colours if you are unsure.

Victoria’s Shawl – Kaye Adolphson is one pattern in Kaye’s collection of shawl patterns. So many beautiful options. Kaye has also designed Past Connections Shawl and Future Connections Shawl. All Kayes patterns come with well written clear instructions and fantastic charts to help you along with your project. Kaye also teaches crochet here in Melbourne at several locations and originally taught me how to crochet!
Crafty Yarn Council is a great website full of useful information including all the standard symbols for crochet and knitting and all the information on what all those symbols on your yarn tags mean, hook and needle conversion charts and more! They also have all the information on Yarn weights including WPI which is very useful if you lost your tag! The other useful website is Yarnsub – great advice on what you can substitute your yarn for in a pattern. Both websites are worth having in your favourites.
